I'm Ian (Guan-Chen) Lin, a builder and researcher based in Taiwan. I'm a master's student at NTU's Graduate Institute of Electronics Engineering, after a CS undergraduate degree at NTU. Before that I was a physics olympiad finalist and spent two years in medical school, a mix that shapes how I approach problems.
In 2026 I co-founded Kanesh, a zero-knowledge-proof compliance platform for textile supply chains, and learned a lot about customer discovery and pitching. My technical work spans CUDA, diffusion models (including diffusion-based chip placement), and inference optimization for a drone VLM agent. I'm now moving toward robot learning, with a robotics PhD as the goal.
Right now I'm building smurg, a multiuser agent orchestration platform.
